Situated on the banks of the Quatse River five minutes from downtown Port Hardy and the BC Ferries terminal. The campground is part of a richly forested regional park containing trees hundreds of years old, with wild flora and fauna found in old growth forests. The Quatse River and area the best fishing opportunities on the B.C. coast. The local rivers provide Coho and Chinook in the fall and excellent Steelhead fishing From December to April. A boat ramp and marina are located just five minutes from the campground, providing access to Hardy Bay, The Queen Charlotte Sound and excellent Salmon and ground fishing. Other local attractions include scuba diving, ocean kayaking, coastal native art, whale watching and hiking trails to the beautiful west coast.
Upon arrival at the campground please park your RV in the parking lot and check in at the office before proceeding into the campground. Check-in time is 2:00 pm unless otherwise pre-arranged. Check-out time is 12:00 pm (noon). Prepaid reservations must pickup their receipt and vehicle tag. For late ferry arrivals watch for our traffic coordinator (wearing a hi-viz vest) who will have your receipt available with directions for finding your site.
